Cliff Davies, the owner of RokSoft, has pursued a lifelong interest in computer programming. This started as a hobby whilst at Primary School and, by the time he reached Secondary School, he was writing educational software which was used by Schools throughout the area. He continued his programming through University before starting his professional career in the computer games industry.
During that time he worked for companies throughout the UK in addition to troubleshooting, and helping to bring to completion, projects for companies in the US.
In 2002 he set up his own company, RokSoft, to commence work as a contractor and consultant. He has worked for many clients throughout the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States, initially working solely on games before also diversifying into various other areas of software engineering.
He has been involved in over 40 released titles for the games industry. He has also written many tools used by companies to assist in the production of their games. More recently he has written software relating to the gambling industry, bit torrent technology, WebKit technology and eCommerce in addition to nearing completion of RokSoft’s first independently produced title for the Android market.
